My bro and team wins the Costa Rica “Coast to Coast” Adventure Race

Congratulations Roy, and Team Bones on your first place finish in the 2007 Coast to Coast Adventure Race… nice job being the first foreign team ever to win!!

"With a flawless performance, Bones becomes the first out-of-country team ever to win this competition.

This team has moved so fast that I have not seen them since two hours
into the race. Captain Roy Malone and Jason Quinn have extensive
expedition race experience, but for Chris Barry and Louisa Jankins this
is their first expedition-length race. Louisa is a former member of the
USA national bike team (and has the quads to prove it) and Jason is a
doctor – which is always useful in tough terrain like this."

Team Bones (USA) racer Jason Quinn gives SleepMonsters an exclusive
first-hand report of their race. Jason and team-mates Roy Malone, Chris
Barry and Louisa Jankins took first place in the competition,
travelling 450 km from Costa Rica’s southern Pacific coast and making
it to the northern Caribbean coast in about 91 hours. The team donated
$500 of their prize money to a one-room school that served as a PC for
the race.

Here’s the fist-hand account of their race as told by Jason.

Nice work everyone!
